Machinery Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift | $52K–$73K/year | Berlin, CT

We are seeking an experienced Machinery Maintenance Technician to join a team in Berlin, CT. This position is ideal for someone with experience in industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.
As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to support production operations and ensure machines continue running safely and efficiently.
Location: Berlin, CT
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $52,000-$73,000/year DOE
What You'll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with equipment repairs
- Conduct inspections of equipment, fluid levels, water flows, filters, quench oils, and related systems
- Support equipment performance testing and maintenance procedures
- Complete repairs, adjustments, and modifications to keep equipment operating efficiently
- Document completed maintenance, repairs, and equipment updates
- Maintain organized tools, parts, and maintenance areas
- Review equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Identify equipment concerns and recommend improvements to increase reliability and safety
- Assist with facility maintenance and operational support as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Previous industrial maintenance or machine maintenance experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment and production machinery
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documents
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
- Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
Additional Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift, bend, pull, stoop, and perform physical maintenance tasks
- Must be able to safely operate company vehicles as needed
