Quality Engineer

Our cl;ient is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality control systems amd comprehensive testing, validation, and continuous improvement processes. This role offers the opportunity to work across various platforms

Duties

• Developing and implementing quality standards propulsion systems
• Developing and implementing quality control systems in an R&D/Production environment
• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met using statistical analysis, process capability
• Collaborating with technicians, operations managers, and engineers to develop and implement controls and improvements
• Creating CoC’s, reviewing, and releasing products to defined requirements
• Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
• Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
• Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes

Experience

• A Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Mechanical, industrial or other relevant engineering degree or equivalent work experience
• General GD&T knowledge and experience reading and working with drawings, or blueprints
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
• Experience creating Quality control plans, performing measurement system analysis and using data to drive process and continuous improvement
• Experience with using QA software tools and processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent project management skills
