Job Details- Position: Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist
- Location: Maryville, Illinois
- Setting: Hospital-Based Invasive Cardiovascular Lab
- Type: Travel Healthcare Job
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call Requirement: On-call coverage required, including at least one weekday call shift and one or more weekend call shifts per month
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380-$2,550
- At least 1 year of experience in a cath lab or cardiovascular invasive setting preferred
- Experience scrubbing in for cardiovascular procedures
- ARRT certification required
- Current state licensure required prior to start
- BLS required; ACLS or PALS required based on specialty assignment and prior to direct patient care
- Ability to work independently and function as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Perform effectively in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles
- Support patient care across a wide range of ages and acuity levels
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and inventory
- Collect, analyze, and document procedural data accurately
- Operate imaging and data acquisition systems in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Support moderate sedation activities under physician supervision when applicable
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and protocol compliance initiatives
- Provide a calm, professional presence during high-stress procedural situations
