Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The role involves independently performing computed tomography procedures, utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration. This position requires technical proficiency, independent judgment, and excellent patient interaction skills to ensure high-quality imaging services.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, including two 12-hour shifts, two 8-hour shifts, and potential coverage of 3 12-hour shifts. Shifts start at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. with occasional night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.; rotation also includes weekdays, some evenings, and weekends.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) program; CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of registration or hire date if already obtained; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; valid ARRT in Radiology with CT experience or ARRT in CT preferred; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; licenses/certifications including PA Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing CT exams, venipuncture skills, GE equipment experience, procedural experience.
  • Additional Information: The position requires administering contrast media (PO, rectal, IV), demonstrating technical expertise with complex imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with patients and team members, follow departmental protocols, and ensure patient safety and care quality. No travel is required for this role.
