Concrete Carpenter - Formwork

About This Role

Looking for experienced concrete carpenters in the Cincinnati, OH area to build and assemble concrete forms on commercial and civil projects. This is a per diem position paying up to $26/hr. We need hands-on people who know formwork, read drawings, and work well with a crew. You'll be setting up and stripping forms, checking layouts against plans, and helping ensure pours go smoothly. Candidates willing to relocate or travel for assignments are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Build, assemble and set concrete forms for walls, footings, and slabs
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and as-built documents
• Lay out sites, measure, cut and install formwork components and bracing
• Ensure accuracy, plumbness and quality of formwork prior to concrete placement
• Work with crew members on site to coordinate pours, stripping, and cleanup

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry on commercial or civil projects
• Strong drawing-reading and site layout skills (plans, specs, as-built)
• Skilled measuring, cutting and general framing carpentry
• Experience with concrete placement/pouring support and quality control
• Ability to work full days outdoors, lift heavy materials, and follow site safety rules

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and standing all day
• OSHA 10 (preferred) or equivalent safety training
• Willingness to relocate or travel for assignments
