Assembler

An Insight Global customer is seeking Assemblers to join a new project focused on building structural metal struts, frames, and supports for large industrial applications. The role involves assembling these structural units accurately and safely by reading design drawings, measuring precisely, and operating mechanical tools. This full-time, on-site position is based in the South Phoenix/Ahwatukee area, operating a 4 AM to 2 PM shift in a climate-controlled indoor facility. The position offers $20 per hour with potential for contract extension or conversion.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read and interpret design drawings for assembly.
• Use tape measures to quickly and precisely measure fractions of an inch.
• Operate impact drills and other mechanical assembly tools safely.
• Lift and maneuver materials up to 40 lbs as needed for assembly.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset to minimize pinch point risks.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read design drawings.
• Proficiency with impact drills and mechanical assembly equipment.
• Skilled in using tape measures with precision.
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs safely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and material handling, including tracking multiple hardware categories and reporting inventory metrics.
