Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full front-end hiring process by evaluating applications, screening candidates, and helping move suitable talent through the recruitment pipeline.
• Arrange interviews and coordinate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and site leadership to keep hiring activities on schedule.
• Oversee pre-employment steps such as background-related requirements, testing appointments, and orientation planning to ensure timely onboarding.
• Monitor staffing needs on a regular basis and partner with operational leaders to identify openings and hiring priorities.
• Lead onboarding sessions for new employees, prepare orientation logistics, and ensure employment paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Enter and maintain employee information in the HRIS, including new employee data, while supporting accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
• Review work authorization documents and maintain I-9 compliance in accordance with company policy and legal standards.
• Explain workplace policies, required notices, and key procedures to new employees so they begin employment with clear expectations.
• Respond to employee questions regarding health, retirement, and wellness programs, and assist with benefits-related forms and disability documentation.
• Support recruiting events such as job fairs and maintain organized HR files and personnel records for ongoing compliance and audit readiness.
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources coordination, HR administration, or a closely related role.
• Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English with the ability to support a diverse workforce effectively.
• Hands-on experience with onboarding, recruiting coordination, and pre-employment processes.
• Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements, including I-9 verification and employee documentation standards.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Paycom or similar systems used for employee data management.
• Experience assisting employees with benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and wellness programs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
