Job Description:
Our client is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to support its Mobile Blood Drive team throughout the Denver metro area. This individual will be responsible for safely transporting mobile blood donation buses and clinical staff to blood drive locations across the region. This role is ideal for a driver seeking local routes, a flexible schedule, and meaningful work supporting life-saving blood collection efforts. Unlike traditional CDL positions, drivers will not be behind the wheel for an entire shift. Once the bus is delivered and set up at a blood drive site, drivers are paid to remain on-site and available until the event concludes. The team's greatest need is support for Friday and Saturday blood drives, though additional weekday opportunities are available!
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Arrive at reporting location and perform vehicle inspection
• Start vehicle, check systems, and ensure the bus is prepared and comfortable for staff
• Safely transport blood drive staff and equipment to scheduled donor locations
• Assist with stabilizing and positioning the vehicle at the event location
• Remain available on-site while the blood drive is taking place
• Safely return staff and vehicle to the reporting location at the conclusion of the event
• Complete all required vehicle inspections and safety procedures
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
