Job Description
We are seeking Candidate Screeners to support recruiting and talent acquisition efforts by identifying, engaging, and evaluating qualified candidates throughout the hiring process. This role serves as a key partner to recruiters and hiring teams by conducting initial candidate assessments, gathering critical information, and helping ensure a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting recruitment initiatives, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates, recruiters, and business partners. This position requires a strong understanding of recruiting practices, talent market dynamics, and compliance standards. Fully remote but must work EST.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial phone screens with prospective candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with open positions.
- Partner with recruiters to identify priority hiring needs and support recruiting strategies.
- Engage with external candidates through outreach efforts using designated recruiting tools and systems.
- Document candidate interactions, screening results, and recruiting activity accurately within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Provide recruiters with candidate feedback and insights to support hiring decisions.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with recruiting teams and hiring managers.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing the organization and supporting a positive candidate experience.
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1+ years of experience supporting recruitment, talent acquisition, or candidate sourcing activities.
- Experience supporting recruiting efforts within the federal government or government contracting environment preferred.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday experience strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with recruiters, candidates, and business partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fully remote position.
- No travel required.
