Salon Manager & Hair Stylist - Full-time

Are you a licensed cosmetologist or barber ready to take the next step in your salon career? Primrose Cost Cutters is looking for a motivated Salon Manager to lead a talented team of hair stylists in a busy, guest-focused salon environment. If you are passionate about leadership, customer service, mentoring hair stylists, and growing a successful salon team, we would love to meet you.

Our Salon Managers earn a base hourly rate of $19–$22 per hour based on experience, plus commission and 100% of their tips - expected total compensation is approximately $30–$50 per hour. We are looking for leaders who are motivated to grow both personally and professionally while helping their salon team and hair stylists succeed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily salon operations and create a positive salon culture
• Mentor and coach hair stylists to help grow their clientele and performance
• Provide exceptional customer service and high-quality hair services
• Support and develop hair stylists through coaching, leadership, and education
• Manage scheduling, inventory, salon performance, and team development
• Support salon goals related to guest experience, retail sales, and team success

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin cosmetology or barber license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a hair stylist or within a salon environment
• Leadership experience preferred but willing to train the right person
• Strong communication, customer service, and team-building skills
• Passion for developing hair stylists and creating a positive salon atmosphere
