Shipping & Receiving / Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving / Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Northwest Houston. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift, along with experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and using an RF scanner.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Prepare outgoing orders and shipments.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Use RF scanners to scan, track, and move inventory.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation.
• Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Work overtime and Saturdays when required by business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping and receiving experience required
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience with inventory control.
• Experience using RF scanners.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime/Saturdays as needed.

What We Offer

• $16–$17 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time schedule
