Metro Services is seeking to hire multiple 1st and 2nd Shift Welders in Chattanooga, TN. This is a Temp/Contract to Direct job for a Heavy Equipment Metal Manufacturer. Apply Now!
- Read and interpret layout details and parts lists, as well as use tape measure and calipers
- Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to print or diagram specifications
- Adjust valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc
- Tack-weld or welds components and assemblies, using MIG welding equipment
- Heats, forms, cuts, and dresses metal parts using hand tools, torch, or arc gouging equipment
- Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
1st Shift
$21.00/hour
2nd Shift
$22.00/hour
Schedule:
1st Shift
6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
or
7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
2nd Shift
6:00 p.m. - 4:30 a.m.
