If these are resonating with you, then you are in the right place.Summary:The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and automated machinery. This role combines knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical components, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of industrial equipment. Daily tasks will vary day-to-day based on immediate need and scheduled maintenance, but can frequently include repairs, aesthetic work or tending to the facility's machinery.Roles and Responsibilities:Assemble, install, and test electromechanical systems, components, and equipment.Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide setup.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using testing tools and diagnostic software.Replace or repair defective parts and recalibrate equipment as needed.Identify root causes of equipment failures and propose effective solutions.Work with PLCs, basic control circuits, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automation equipment (depending on organization).Conduct functional tests on repaired and installed equipment.Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.Conduct functional tests on repaired and installed equipment.Work closely with engineering, operations, and production teams to minimize downtime.Provide technical support during system upgrades and new equipment integration.Participating in a mandatory stretching exercise programFollow all safety regulationsReceive directions and work orders from the assigned department supervisorReview daily inspection sheets of equipment and make necessary repairs/recommendationsRepair all equipment, including splitters, saws, loaders, wrappers, quarry trucks, trailers and forkliftsProvide feedback to supervisors and operators on the improvement of PM tasks and maintenance operationsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and complete all necessary paperworkOrder parts, tools, and materials needed to repair and maintain equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problemsMaintain a clean and organized work areaOther duties as assignedQualifications and Education Requirements:Associate degree or technical certification in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.2+ years of experience in electromechanical maintenance or industrial machinery service.Strong understanding of:Electrical systems (AC/DC)Mechanical systems and assembliesSensors, relays, motors, actuatorsPneumatic and hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license with good driving recordAbility to lift objects weighing between 50-100 poundsPreferred QualificationsExperience in automated manufacturing environments.Basic PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Welding or fabrication skills.OSHA or NFPA electrical safety training.Key CompetenciesTechnical aptitudeAttention to detailStrong communication and teamworkAdaptability in fast-paced environmentsCommitment to safetyAble to follow detailed plans and be able to work within deadlinesAble to work with minimal supervisionAble to be proactiveAbility to adapt to varying work environmentsDependableAbility to troubleshoot and solve problemsAbility to adapt to varying weather conditionsAbility to work independently and as a teamWork ConditionsWorks in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including varying weather and work environmentsBuechel Stone Corp will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records for employment in compliance with the FCO
