Maintenance Technician | Tremonton, UT

Nexeo Staffing is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to support operations at a leading food manufacturing facility in Tremonton, Utah. This temporary position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced production environment. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently while supporting facility reliability and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic production systems.

• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.

• Support food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements throughout the facility.

• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

• Assist with equipment installation, calibration, modifications, and process improvement projects.

• Fabricate, repair, and install parts and components as needed.

• Maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, HVAC systems, boilers, and other facility equipment.

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.

• Support building maintenance, facility upkeep, and general maintenance projects.

• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Vocational training, technical certification, or education in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Experience maintaining motors, pumps, conveyors, boilers, HVAC equipment, and production machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with CMMS software and maintenance documentation preferred.

• PLC troubleshooting and industrial controls experience is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, dust, and varying temperatures.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.

Pay

$33.20 per hour

Schedule

Grave Shift | 4:15 PM - 4:30 AM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
