Greensville Health and Rehab in Emporia, VA has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team!

Position Summary

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about providing quality, resident-centered care and helping residents improve their functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to residents
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Address communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs as appropriate
  • Monitor and document resident progress, responses, and outcomes
  • Establish realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on appropriate therapeutic strategies
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow all applicable regulatory, safety, and facility standards
Qualifications
  • Current State SLP License (or eligible)
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
