Poultry Production Worker

Penmac Staffing in Joplin, MO is hiring Poultry Production Workers for a poultry processing facility in the Butterfield, MO area. We have immediate full-time openings in the Cut-Up and Marination departments on multiple shifts. Requirements for Poultry Production Worker

Good attendance is required
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to wear rubber boots while working
Ability to stand for extended periods in a production environment
Some heavy lifting may be required
Must be willing to complete employee and client safety orientations
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Ability to follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Must be able to work assigned schedules and overtime as needed
Must be able to work in cold and damp areas
Cut Up line - must be able to use hand held scissors to cut up product using wrists to pick up and turn product for duration of shift.
GOOD ATTENDANCE IS A MUST!

Poultry Production Worker Responsibilities

Depending on the department assigned, duties may include:

Processing poultry products in the Cut-Up or Marination departments
Trimming, sorting, handling, and packaging products
Maintaining food safety and quality standards
Following workplace safety procedures at all times
Keeping work areas clean and organized
Assisting with daily production goals and production line operations
Working as part of a team to meet production requirements

Schedule & Pay

1st Shift Cut-Up / Marination

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

2nd Shift Cut-Up / Marination

Monday through Friday
4:00 PM until production is complete (typically 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM)

Pay

Starting pay: $15.40 per hour
Full-time opportunities available
Overtime may be required based on production needs
