Shipping Specialist – Manufacturing (Gerald, MO) Penmac Staffing is hiring a Shipping Specialist for a manufacturing facility in Gerald, MO. This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position responsible for coordinating and executing daily shipping operations to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of finished products. The Shipping Specialist plays a key role in inventory control, order fulfillment, and compliance with shipping requirements while working closely with plant personnel and transportation partners. Shipping Specialist Schedule

Plant 1 Hours: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM–10:00 AM
Plant 2 Hours: Monday–Thursday 6:30 AM–3:45 PM; Friday 6:30 AM–11:30 AM
Overtime is possible on weekdays and occasionally on Friday afternoons. Shipping Specialist Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and required documentation
• Process shipments accurately and in a timely manner
• Verify, inspect, and record all items loaded for shipment
• Ensure shipping paperwork is complete and compliant with regulations
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and quality before release
• Identify shipping discrepancies and assist with troubleshooting
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers
• Maintain safe work practices in a safety-sensitive environment

Requirements for the Shipping Specialist

• Previous shipping, logistics, or related experience preferred, especially in manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of inventory management
• Basic math, reading, and language skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance is required
• Valid state driver’s license preferred
• Must successfully complete forklift training or demonstrate safe forklift operation
• Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings
