ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The position involves a 40-hour work schedule over 4 days, with flexible start dates available.
Unit DescriptionThe role is primarily in a Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology lab, consisting of 2 procedure rooms. Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures such as PCI, Impella placements, balloon pump insertions, device implants, and ablations.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and participation in interventional cardiac procedures.
- Scrubbing for device implants and leading revisions and ablations.
- Maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically EPIC - Cupid.
- Potentially floating to Interventional Radiology as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a Cath/EP Lab setting.
- At least 2 years of travel experience in a related field.
- Required certifications: ARRT Certification, Current MA License as a Radiologic Tech, AHA ACLS.
- Experience with interventional procedures, including PCI.
- Proficiency in EPIC systems.
- Strong technical skills with Toshiba X-Ray and Cannon equipment.
The patient population is primarily adults undergoing cardiac interventions.
Work EnvironmentCall shifts are part of the schedule, including full weekend coverage (Friday to Sunday), with a call room available on-site for convenience.
