Help Students Learn and Grow
  • Work alongside students during hands-on collision repair lab activities.
  • Guide students through troubleshooting and problem-solving challenges.
  • Reinforce classroom learning by helping students apply skills in real-world situations. 
  • Create a welcoming learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged. 
Keep the Lab Running Smoothly
  • Help manage daily lab operations and maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and ready for student use. 
  • Demonstrate proper equipment use and safe work practices.
  • Support a culture of safety for students, faculty, and staff. 
Partner with Faculty
  • Collaborate with instructors to create meaningful lab experiences. 
  • Assist with preparing lab activities, demonstrations, and learning materials.
  • Help maintain records related to lab activities and equipment. 
  • Share your industry expertise to continuously improve the student experience.
Continue Growing Your Own Skills
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Apply new knowledge and best practices in the lab.

  • Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Diploma or AAS in Collision Repair and Refinish Technology or related field preferred. 
  • Experience: minimum of 5 years of work experience in the collision repair and refinish industry required.

Work is performed in both a general office setting and a collision repair and refinishing shop environment. Office and classroom spaces are climate-controlled with typical lighting and moderate noise levels from staff, students, and office equipment. Laboratory areas are not climate-controlled and may be subject to temperature and humidity extremes, with noise levels consistent with an active collision repair shop.




Compensation details: 30.47-35.47 Hourly Wage
