Location: Forest Lake, MN

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday; shifts may vary between 6:45am-5:30pm (including opening, mid, and closing shifts as needed)

Why This Role Matters

As a Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in the patient experience and diagnostic process. Your expertise helps ensure accurate specimen collection while creating a positive, professional, and reassuring experience for every patient.

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling in the patient's presence
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
  • Maintain required records, documentation, and confidentiality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a safe and professional environment
  • Support multiple patient service locations as needed based on business demands
  • Work independently while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity standards

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong specimen collection, processing, and patient interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing staffing needs
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB Test required; COVID and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended)
