Job Details Salary: $60,000 to $100,000 per year Job Type: Full Time Location: Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 Position Overview As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive service. Your role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers promptly with professionalism and courtesy. Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify and confirm service needs accurately. Recommend appropriate services, parts, and accessories by leveraging product knowledge. Provide accurate estimates for cost and completion times, obtaining customer authorization before proceeding. Monitor service progress, communicate updates or changes, and seek approvals for additional work as required. Manage warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines for both new and used vehicles. Confirm service appointments by phone and conduct follow-up communication after repairs. Inspect vehicles before delivery to verify services and repairs are completed correctly and explain findings to customers. Comply with all state and federal regulations related to automobile repair and consumer protection. Exhibit behaviors consistent with company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors. Working Hours This is a full-time position with standard dealership hours. Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Requirement:Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience as an automotive service advisor. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license in the state of employment with a clean driving record. Positive attitude with a high-energy approach to customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional appearance and strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.
