Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country

Reports To: Program/Club Director
Internship: Unpaid – Academic Credit May Be Available
Schedule: Flexible based on school requirements and Club needs

As a Program Intern with the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country, you’ll gain real-world experience working with youth, supporting programs, connecting with the community, and learning how a nonprofit organization makes a difference every day.
What You’ll Do
  • Help create and lead fun, engaging activities for youth ages 6–18.
  • Build positive relationships with Club members and be a great role model.
  • Assist with educational, recreational, arts, sports, and leadership programs.
  • Get hands-on experience with federal, state, and local grant compliance, documentation, and reporting.
  • Help collect program information and track outcomes that demonstrate our impact.
  • Participate in community meetings, outreach, and engagement activities.
  • Represent the Boys & Girls Club to the public and help promote our mission in a positive, professional way.
  • Work alongside experienced Club staff and community partners.
  • Assist with special events and projects that make a difference in the lives of young people.

Compensation
Unpaid internship. Academic credit may be available through your college or university. Students should coordinate requirements with their academic advisor or internship coordinator.
