Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician

A local company in Erie, PA is looking for a dependable Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician to handle basic building upkeep, general repairs, and grounds maintenance. This is a hands-on position suited for someone with general maintenance experience who is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and basic repairs

• Complete painting, patching, and touch-up work

• Replace or repair basic fixtures and hardware

• Perform minor carpentry and general handyman tasks

• Assist with maintaining doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and other building components

• Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and general outdoor upkeep

• Help keep exterior areas, walkways, and surrounding grounds maintained

• Move materials, equipment, and supplies as needed

• Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs when necessary

• Perform other general building and grounds upkeep duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous general maintenance, handyman, building maintenance, or groundskeeping experience preferred

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

• Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry, and general building repairs

• Able to work both indoors and outdoors

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

• Good problem-solving and mechanical skills

• Must be able to perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday

• Background check required

Benefits/Compensation

• 1st shift 7a-3p M-F

• $19/hr

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
