Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for a 26-week travel assignment in a busy inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Details
- Inpatient acute care hospital setting within the Rehabilitation Services unit
- 175-bed facility with a therapy team of 60 providers including PT, OT, SLP, PTA, and COTA staff
- 10-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule that includes heavy weekend rotation
- Weekend requirement of 2-3 weekends per month, including Saturdays and Sundays
- Daily patient ratio of 8-10 patients
- EMR system used is Epic
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable
- Acute care experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to start
Additional Information
- Best suited for independent, self-motivated professionals
- Light green scrubs required for dress code
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
