Receiving Specialist

Our client in Leetsdale is seeking a organized Shipping Specialist to handle daily shipping and packing activities.

Job Duties:

- Prepare and process all documentation required for domestic and international shipments.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers as needed.
- Determine and assign correct Harmonized Tariff Codes for international shipments.
- Package products according to customer specifications and internal guidelines.
- Submit purchase requisitions to maintain stock of shipping and packaging materials.
- Receive and unload shipments using manual methods or pallet jacks.
- Inspect incoming materials based on quality control standards.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.

Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of international shipping practices, including Harmonized Tariff Codes and Incoterms, preferred.
- Ability to prepare commercial invoices, bills of lading, and Shipper"s Letters of Instruction.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, particularly with inventory handling.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
