Job Description
THIS IS AN 18+ MO CONTRACT ROLE
ONSITE IN FREEPORT
MAX RATE: $21HR
Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior R&D TS&D Technician to support analytical testing, pilot plant operations, and commercial efforts. This role is critical to ongoing lab and reactor support
Core Responsibilities
Supporting product or formulation development projects
• Planning and executing laboratory experiments with a focus on product performance optimization
• Interpreting experimental results and translating findings into development recommendations
• Working closely with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams in an R&D or TS&D setting
• Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and hands-on laboratory troubleshooting
Experience with polymeric materials or specialty chemical products would be beneficial but is not required.

o High motivation and eagerness to learn
o Reliability and commitment to mastering equipment quickly
Schedule & Work Conditions
• 4/10 schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional overtime (typically 1–2 hours) for special runs
• Standard lab environment with required PPE
• Training period: ~3 months to reach full proficiency
IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Have hands on analytical lab experience or P Tech backgrounds
• Demonstrate strong motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn
• Can adapt quickly to technical equipment and process workflows
• Are comfortable with a structured 4/10 schedule and occasional overtime
