Delivery Driver

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials, products, and personnel between company facilities, suppliers, and customers. This role is essential to maintaining efficient logistics and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable delivery service. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to safety and punctuality.

Essential Functions

·        Safely operate company vehicles (vans, box trucks, etc.) in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations

·        Transport raw materials, finished products, tools, or personnel between company locations or to/from customer and supplier sites

·        Conduct pickups and deliveries as scheduled, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs

·        Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring materials are properly secured and handled with care

·        Plan and optimize driving routes to maximize efficiency, minimize delays, and meet delivery deadlines

·        Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and reporting maintenance needs

·        Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery receipts, and inspection records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements

Requirements

·        Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

·        Proven ability to safely operate company vehicles; experience with vans, box trucks, or light-duty trucks preferred

·        Strong understanding of traffic laws, safe driving practices, and defensive driving techniques

·        Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items when loading or unloading vehicles

·        Work Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm. Occasional overtime may be required to meet customer demands.  

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
