Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification along with at least 2 years of specialty experience for a Rochester, MN clinic assignment.
Details
- Rochester Clinic - CT Body department, on-site position with no teleworking
- Multiple shift options available: 6:30a-5p with Wednesdays off (13-week assignment), 6:30a-3p Monday-Friday (26-week contract), or 7a-3:30p Monday-Friday (13-week contract)
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Must be able to work varied hours and shift lengths, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Requires flexibility to respond to an on-call pager and staff various work locations
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- ARRT certified in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required
- Associate's degree in a related field and graduate of an accredited radiography program required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience and/or 3 total travel assignments required for this location
- State licensure required if applicable
- No pending license allowed for consideration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Ability to work independently in an organized, efficient, and multifunctional manner

- Produce high-quality diagnostic images meeting Mayo Clinic Radiology Department standards
- Maintain competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
- Follow proper safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients
- Foster teamwork through effective communication
- Ensure a high level of patient care through proper technique and safety practices
- COVID vaccination and booster required
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
- Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
