We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Tampa, Florida. This opportunity allows you to work with an adult and geriatric patient population in a skilled nursing setting while helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall functional independence.
This is a strong fit for a PT who enjoys working with medically complex patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, and helping individuals regain function following illness, injury, surgery, or hospitalization.

- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient’s functional goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions.
- Treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, surgery, hospitalization, and general deconditioning.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on mobility, safety, assistive devices, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, OT, SLP, case management, and other members of the care team.
- Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and discharge recommendations.
