Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level 2 trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the Heart Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
- 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Floating is not required
- On-call requirements include 1 night weekly and 1 weekend every 4th weekend for weekend and holiday coverage
- Techs are required to scrub, circulate, and monitor
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab specialty experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- ARRT certification with FL license required, or RCIS, or RCES (license required if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience in a trauma level, teaching facility setting preferred
Additional Information
- Facility is a Level 2 trauma center and teaching hospital
- Designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center
- Orientation held every Monday
- Local candidates accepted, except those with a permanent address in Tallahassee
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
