**Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Physical Therapist - **Schedule:** 32-36 Hrs/week, 4-day work week (8 or 9 hrs/day) - **Setting:** 90% Outpatient, 10% Inpatient **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Master’s Degree from an accredited physical therapy program - **Experience:** Direct patient interaction in long-term care or hospital settings - **Licenses/Certifications:** Current Physical Therapist state license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:** - Strong documentation skills - Excellent verbal communication - Effective patient services **Position Summary:** Join a dynamic team where you will: - Plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to higher physical function after an accident or surgery - Manage and lessen pain associated with degenerative conditions or terminal diseases - Collaborate with speech therapists to achieve optimal patient outcomes **PT Responsibilities:** - Consult with patients to understand their physical condition and review medical histories - Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patient movements - Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient - Coach patients on therapeutic exercises and stretches to enhance recovery - Utilize hands-on therapy to ease pain and stimulate healing - Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, and progress - Report on patient status to relevant parties, including family members and healthcare teams **Professional Communication:** - Respect patient confidentiality at all times - Engage empathetically with patients and families from diverse backgrounds - Provide support and information to reduce anxiety for patients and families - Maintain professional relationships with the healthcare team - Communicate effectively regarding clinical priorities for care - Address security concerns promptly with supervisors **Teamwork:** - Collaborate closely with fellow care providers to complete tasks - Report on patient conditions to physicians and nurses as needed - Utilize problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to foster teamwork - Punctuality and reliability in reporting to work **Professional Development:** - Participate in in-services and continuing education - Contribute to peer performance reviews as requested - Engage with opportunities to improve care and customer service **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
