Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and EPIC experience for a variable-shift contract role.
Details
- Work in the CT Scan unit performing computed tomography and other imaging procedures
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy in addition to CT imaging
- Care for patients ranging from adolescents through geriatric populations
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images
- Variable shift schedule between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM with multiple possible start times
- EPIC experience required
Requirements
- ARRT registration required: R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R)
- Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice
- Advanced CT certification preferred in CA
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required for administering contrast materials
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty required
- Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all age groups
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
- Ensure patient data integrity and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior licensure hit will not be considered
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction
