Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support the U.S. Department of the Navy in cybersecurity engineering and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, with a focus on Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS).

Must-Have Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an active Tier 5 (T5) clearance or ability to obtain one before onboarding.
• 5+ years of RMF experience, including at least 1 year of specialized FRCS/RMF cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Qualified under DoDM 8140.03, Cyber Workforce Work Role 461 – Systems Security Analyst at the Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal government supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reports, security policies, and procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with system owners, ISSMs, and government stakeholders.
• Ability to perform required physical activities, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing ladders, bending, and lifting equipment up to 25 lbs.

Required Certification

Must have at least one:
CCSP, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GISF, GSEC, or Security+

Advanced certifications that automatically qualify:
RCCE Level 1, CISSO, CISSP-ISSEP, CySA+, FITSP-O, GCLD, GCSA, or GSNA.
