CNC Milling Machinist 2nd shift (up $33hr plus 15% s/d) Direct Hire

Position Overview:

This is a direct hire opportunity from day one, offering competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with experience in 5-axis and mill-turn machining.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (5-axis and mill-turn)
• Work with mills, mill-turn equipment, centerless grinders, and multi-axis grinders
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, work holding, and fixtures for each job
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Accurately document production and inspection results

Qualifications:

• Experience with 5-axis milling, mill-turn equipment, and/or grinding machines
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Solid understanding of machining principles (tooling, speeds, feeds)
• High attention to detail and quality
• Basic computer skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday
• 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM

Compensation:

• $33.00 hour plus 15% shift differential, based on experience
