Job Description

Join a life sciences manufacturing team supporting the production of diagnostic products used by healthcare professionals worldwide. This position is responsible for the hands-on preparation, inspection, labeling, and packaging of in-vitro diagnostic products while maintaining strict quality and regulatory standards.

Work Location & Schedule
This is a fully onsite position in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform packaging and assembly activities in accordance with established production specifications and quality requirements.
  • Set up, operate, and perform routine care of packaging equipment and machinery.
  • Follow approved procedures and manufacturing instructions throughout the packaging process.
  • Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and maintain compliance with applicable quality requirements.
  • Verify product identification, labeling, quantities, and associated documentation for accuracy.
  • Follow applicable FDA requirements governing product packaging and labeling.
  • Conduct visual and quality inspections of completed products and identify discrepancies or defects.
  • Keep the production area clean, orderly, and compliant with workplace and manufacturing standards.
  • Use hand tools, production equipment, and material-handling equipment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with production and quality personnel to meet daily manufacturing objectives.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing, production, assembly, or packaging experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with packaging machinery, hand tools, and forklift/material-handling equipment is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, work procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling labeling, documentation, and product inspections.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP principles and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Comfortable working in a production setting with established productivity and quality expectations.
  • Dependable team player with clear communication skills and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
