Schedule
Monday - Friday
Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (overtime as needed)
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Tracy, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move finished and unfinished molded logs throughout the facility.
- Remove finished logs from the mold line and transport them to the appropriate storage area.
- Monitor, measure, and store molded logs according to production specifications.
- Follow the peeler schedule and stage logs to ensure an adequate supply is available for processing.
- Transport unfinished logs from storage racks and log storage areas to the peeler staging area.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and accurately document inspection results.
- Handle products safely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Assist the Mold Panel Operator as needed.
- Move rebond scrap from the finishing line to the grinding room for recycling.
- Obtain and prepare film and netting for lamination lines as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to maintain smooth production flow.
- Identify and report product, process, safety, or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized mold, log storage, and finishing-line area.
- Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and workplace conduct policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating industrial forklifts preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production specifications.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift while handling heavy materials.
- Ability to follow production schedules and instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to identify and report safety and quality concerns.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to participate as a member of a confined-space team, if required.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Frequent forklift operation and material handling.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Repetitive bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and manufacturing materials.
- Physical work throughout the shift.
- Required PPE and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
