Pay:  $18.00–$25.00/hour + commission on product sales

POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Aesthetician delivers professional skincare treatments, educates patients on medical-grade skincare, and works alongside our clinical team in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, consistent with New Hampshire scope-of-practice standards. The ideal candidate is skilled, personable, knowledgeable in medical-grade skincare, and genuinely passionate about aesthetics and patient outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform professional aesthetic treatments including:
• • Superficial chemical peels (within licensed esthetician scope of practice)
  • Dermaplaning
  • HydraFacial
  • SkinWave
  • Additional device-based and wellness treatments as our menu expands
• Conduct thorough skin consultations and build individualized treatment plans
• Recommend and sell medical-grade skincare products
• Provide clear pre- and post-treatment patient education
• Maintain clean, safe treatment rooms in compliance with sanitation and infection-control standards
• Document treatment notes accurately in our practice management/EMR system
• Build lasting patient relationships that support retention and referrals
• Collaborate with nursing staff and management to support daily clinical operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active, unrestricted Esthetician license through the NH Board of Barbering, Cosmetology, and Esthetics (required)
• 1–3+ years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or aesthetic practice preferred
• Strong working knowledge of skincare ingredients and medical-grade product lines
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Bloodborne pathogen training (or willingness to complete during onboarding)
• Willingness to complete device-specific technical training for light therapy/IPL equipment per NH Bar 302.07 (training provided)
• Excellent communication, consultative sales, and patient-service skills
• Professional presentation and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team

All clinical services are performed within the scope of the employee's license, consistent with New Hampshire law.
