About the Role:
EVEN Hotel by IHG in Norwalk, CT is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our front desk team. This is a great opportunity to be the backbone of our overnight operations, ensuring every guest has a seamless and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. Responsibilities:
- Perform nightly audit of hotel financial transactions, balancing daily revenue and reconciling accounts
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including guest check-ins and check-outs
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
- Process end-of-day reports and prepare daily summary reports for management review
- Monitor hotel security and ensure the safety and comfort of all overnight guests
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight needs
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate billing records
Requirements:
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS), IHG experience a plus HotelKey
- Strong mathematical and accounting aptitude with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and stay focused during overnight shifts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
