Skilled Press Operator – 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift
Location: Walker, MI
Shift: 2nd (3:00pm–1:10am, Mon–Thurs; orientation at 2:00pm)
Weekend Shift Available
Pay: $20-$24/hour
Job Type: Direct Hire, Contract to Hire

Become a key part of our dynamic production team as an experienced Press Operator. You will operate and monitor press and banding tools within an assembly cell while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!
- Leads in setting up dies and related equipment
- Completes entire die changeover from last-piece to first-piece in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to accomplish die sets, press operations and troubleshooting of stamping processes in a methodical manner.
- Ability to change over multiple part number dies.
- Trained as Stamping Press Operator and is capable of running a press as necessary.
- Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition, following 5S standards.
- Responsible for following work instructions KanBan pull systems
- Understanding and working knowledge of all job related Quality Objectives, Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret safety, production, and quality documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Positive team player with effective communication skills
- Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards a plus
