The institution is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing ongoing cardiovascular coverage beginning in October. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period.

The Champaign-Urbana area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural and recreational opportunities. Attractions such as the University of Illinois Arboretum, the Spurlock Museum, and Allerton Park and Retreat Center - located approximately 25 miles from Urbana - are accessible within the region, alongside live music, performing arts, and outdoor spaces including parks with prairie trails. The area also encompasses nearby communities such as Champaign, Monticello, and Mahomet, with venues hosting Broadway productions and regular community gatherings available throughout the coverage period.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on a day shift schedule with no call obligations. One weekend per month of in-house rounding and consults is required as part of the assignment schedule. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system. A caseload of 12 to 15 patients per day is expected throughout the coverage period.
