Reports To: Regional Manager
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and performance of the branch. This position establishes and achieves the branch profit plan while ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, corporate guidelines, safety standards, and sound business practices.
The Branch Manager provides leadership to all branch personnel, develops customer and supplier relationships, manages financial performance, and ensures the branch delivers excellent service while meeting company objectives.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablish and achieve the branch's profit and performance objectives.
Monitor branch financial performance and control operating expenses.
Conduct regular meetings with branch personnel to communicate sales goals, product information, procedures, and company updates.
Make sales calls and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Assist with customer disputes, account issues, and collection efforts.
Safeguard company assets, inventory, equipment, and other resources.
Hire, train, develop, and provide technical assistance to branch employees.
Evaluate employee performance and document strengths, weaknesses, performance concerns, and training needs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards throughout the branch.
Conduct or support audits to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Implement, enforce, and train employees on the branch safety program.
Identify operational issues, research root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Ensure branch operations are conducted in accordance with corporate guidelines and sound business practices.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to all branch personnel.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The Branch Manager is responsible for supervising all branch personnel, including hiring, training, employee development, performance management, and disciplinary actions as appropriate.

Education and ExperiencePrevious management, branch management, sales, operations, or related business experience preferred.
Experience leading, training, and developing employees.
Experience managing budgets, expenses, financial performance, or profit objectives preferred.
Experience working with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Ability to perform general business mathematics.
Ability to understand and interpret basic financial and operational data.
Ability to review documents and identify errors or inconsistencies.
Ability to research issues and identify root causes.
Ability to evaluate situations, make sound business decisions, and implement solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and management.
Ability to prepare and review business correspondence, reports, and other written documents.
