MIG WELDERS | 1st and 2nd Shift
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay: $21.20 Per Hour
Pay: $21.20 Per Hour
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM | 2nd Shift Premium: Additional $0.50 Per Hour
Attendance Incentive: Opportunity to earn an additional $1.40 per hour each week for meeting attendance and punctuality requirements

Duties:
- Lay out, position, assemble, and MIG weld carbon steel and other materials to produce finished products according to engineering specifications and drawings.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine project requirements, weld dimensions, and assembly procedures.
- Prepare materials for welding by clamping, grinding, and positioning components.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished parts.
- Conduct visual inspections and perform quality checks on welds to meet ASME and company quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance on welding and material handling equipment.
- Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of MIG fabrication welding experience.
- Strong background in material handling, including crane and forklift operation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy materials, and weld in various positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead.
- Must be able to pass a MIG weld test.
- Ability to read tape measures and understand weld symbols.
- Familiarity with standard welding equipment.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Welding certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
