MIG WELDERS | 1st and 2nd Shift
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay: $21.20 Per Hour
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM | 2nd Shift Premium: Additional $0.50 Per Hour
Attendance Incentive: Opportunity to earn an additional $1.40 per hour each week for meeting attendance and punctuality requirements

We are looking for a dependable team players with hands on MIG fabrication experience and a commitment to producing quality work in a safe, efficient environment. Duties:
  • Lay out, position, assemble, and MIG weld carbon steel and other materials to produce finished products according to engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine project requirements, weld dimensions, and assembly procedures.
  • Prepare materials for welding by clamping, grinding, and positioning components.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished parts.
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform quality checks on welds to meet ASME and company quality standards.
  • Perform basic maintenance on welding and material handling equipment.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of MIG fabrication welding experience.
  • Strong background in material handling, including crane and forklift operation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy materials, and weld in various positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead.
  • Must be able to pass a MIG weld test.
  • Ability to read tape measures and understand weld symbols.
  • Familiarity with standard welding equipment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Welding certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
