Licensed Social Worker - Mental Health | High Pay + Benefits

The Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa will deliver behavioral health services focused on improving mental and emotional well-being. This role involves comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, therapy, and coordination of care within a rural healthcare setting, working alongside an integrated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Treat patients across the lifespan.
• Address behavioral health conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and adjustment disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals.
• Coordinate whole-person and integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support individuals and families in an underserved rural healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Active LISW license in Iowa.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Pay

• $60,000–$75,000 annually (Based on Experience)
