Job Description
The Pilot Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of pilot plant processing and packaging equipment. This position supports product development, scale-up activities, and manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with food industry standards. The mechanic performs both preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of food processing systems and utility equipment while minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
Maintain and repair food processing equipment including:
· Retorts
· Aseptic sterilizers
· Homogenizers
· High-shear mixers
· Processing vessels and tanks
· Heat exchangers
· Pumps and piping systems
· Conveyors
· Filling and packaging systems
Support equipment startups, changeovers, and commissioning activities.

Education: High School diploma with at least 3+ years of experience
