Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist (Contract Position)

LHH is partnering with a growing company in Hiram, Ohio to hire an Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist. This immediate-start contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, payment posting, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and post daily cash receipts and customer payments
• Apply payments accurately to customer accounts
• Reconcile account balances and investigate discrepancies
• Research and resolve payment issues and unapplied cash
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records
• Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
• Support the accounting team with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or related accounting functions
• Strong knowledge of payment posting and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
