Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Associate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Associate to join a busy manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have strong end-to-end AP experience, including 3-way matching, invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and working within an ERP-based accounting system.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AP professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and managing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment.
• Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval.
• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and exceptions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP accounts.
• Verify appropriate coding and approvals before processing payments.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and AP documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment and invoice issues.
• Assist with month-end AP closing activities and reconciliations.
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
• Support reporting and other accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior full-cycle Accounts Payable experience required.
• Strong hands-on experience with 3-way matching.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• ERP-based accounting system experience is required.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice coding, purchase orders, and receiving.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Ideal Candidate: An experienced AP professional who understands the complete invoice-to-payment cycle, is comfortable with 3-way matching, and has worked extensively within an ERP system in a manufacturing or similar environment.
