Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide PRN support at our assisted living communities in South Tampa. This is a part-time or PRN position where the speech therapist will work under both part A and part B. The role can grow into a full-time role.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
  • Provide therapy services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and speech impairments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nursing, dietary, and medical staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate approach to working with elderly population
  • Reliable and professional demeanor

Desired Skills

  • Clinical experience or coursework in geriatrics, dysphagia, or medical speech pathology
  • Interest in long-term care or assisted living settings
