Our client seeks a Lead Agilist to coach and facilitate Agile Squads in applying Scrum values and principles. The role will guide teams through effective ceremonies, removal of impediments, and continuous improvement using data and feedback loops. The Lead Agilist will foster a trusting environment, promote servant leadership, and collaborate with Product Owners and Developers on backlog management, value delivery, and risk identification while modeling learning behaviors and cross-functional collaboration.

Rate: $70.00 to $75.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Support Agile Squad(s) in applying Agile and Scrum values and principles.
- Facilitate Scrum events to ensure value delivery, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
- Remove impediments and escalate when needed to appropriate organizational entities.
- Coach Product Owners and Development Teams in effective backlog management and shared understanding of outcomes.
- Promote self-organization, continuous improvement, cross-functionality, and software craftsmanship.
- Build a trusting and safe environment that enables open problem solving and collaboration.
- Use metrics and feedback loops to drive inspect-and-adapt improvements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside the Squad, including coordination with the Agile Center.
- Shield the team from external interference to maintain productivity.
- Model servant leadership and continuous learning. Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of full-time business experience.
- 3+ years of Scrum experience.
- Agile and Scrum knowledge with proven facilitation techniques.
- Experience removing impediments and communicating across teams.
- Coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to teach complex concepts.
- Conflict resolution and mediation capability.
- Experience using metrics to help teams improve.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle disciplines.
- Working knowledge of practices that support agility such as CI/CD, TDD, and automated testing.
- Working knowledge of other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Scrumban, XP, and Mob programming.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
