About who needs care: Healing from a spinal care injury About the care needs: My husband was in an accident in May. He broke his neck. He was originally paralyzed but after surgery they were able to line the neck back up. He is slowly getting better. He was in the icu for 10 days and then at u of u rehab for 2. 5 months. I have been doing all straight cathing and bowel care for the last 3 weeks. My 5 kids have been helping me. But we are ready for help. From 7 to 9 a.m. We need help with bowel care, straight cath, shower, and doing transfer with electrical hoyer. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
