ABOUT THE ROLE
Accountable for defining, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and continuously improving assigned manufacturing processes. The Process Owner ensures processes consistently achieve established performance, quality, cost, safety, compliance, and operational objectives while effectively utilizing personnel, equipment, and technology. Acts as the primary authority for the assigned process and coordinates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to ensure process effectiveness and alignment with business requirements. This role provides overall ownership and strategic direction for manufacturing processes throughout their lifecycle, focusing on process definition, governance, performance monitoring, standardization, compliance, risk management, training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, and ensuring processes remain effective, sustainable, measurable, and aligned with organizational and customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Definition & Maintenance: Define and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures.
- KPI Management: Establish and monitor process KPIs and performance targets.
- Gap & Risk Identification: Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Process Change Management: Review and implement process changes.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance.
- Training & Communication: Support training and communicate process changes.
- Continuous Improvement & Standardization: Drive continuous improvement and process standardization.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Operations, or related field.
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience in manufacturing or process management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- KPI Knowledge: Knowledge of process KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Process Documentation: Experience with process documentation and continuous improvement.
- Quality & Risk Management: Knowledge of quality systems and risk management.
- Communication: Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience Level: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred
- Industry Experience: Experience in regulated manufacturing industries.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of GMP, FDA, or ISO requirements.
- Quality Systems Experience: Experience with CAPA, change control, or deviation management.
- Performance Metrics: Familiarity with OEE, SPC, or manufacturing performance metrics.
- Manufacturing Systems: Experience with ERP, MES, SCADA, or manufacturing data systems.
- Leadership: Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
